Upon approval, the extension grants a new validity period of up to two years. Additionally, digital nomads granted temporary residence in Montenegro are eligible for family reunification, allowing close family members to join them. Also, if you choose to establish a company or register as an entrepreneur in Montenegro, you will automatically lose your digital nomad status.
